Teeth Whitening gels are transparent peroxide gels used to bleach your teeth. Depending on the color of your teeth the whitening gel can whiten your teeth several shades. Beware – The whitening achieved with over the counter or Internet marketed DIY whitening gel kits cannot be compared in any way with the results of professional LED cosmetic teeth whitening procedures performed by a professional service provider. Statements of 6 shades are falsified by using shade guides like A 1-5, then B 1-5 & so on. Accordingly a 6 shade improvement is really only a single shade variation by our measures! They came to the following conclusion: That compared to Orange Juice “The orange juice decreased enamel hardness by 84%.” No significant change in hardness or surface enamel was found from whitening. The Love My Smile whitening starts with you cleaning your teeth, followed by applying a special Teeth Whitening gel into the mouthpiece. This whitening gel contains stronger bleaching agent compared to the gel used in over-the-counter tooth bleaching products, which ensures better results. After the whitening gel has been applied, the consultant uses our patented Cool Light system to activate the photo receptors, which facilitates better gel penetration through the teeth enamel. The Teeth Whitening procedure usually lasts about 20 - 50 minutes (depending of the severity of staining) and the results can be seen immediately after. The longer the treatment...the better the results.
Unlike zoom whitening & similar treatments we DO NOT use UV light. As a result there is no UV exposure to burn or blister the sensitive skin around your mouth & gums. The Love My Smile system uses the latest 530nm LED technology and photo activated bleaching gels to achieve stunning results without the ridiculously expensive prices & highlighted dangers of UV exposure!
As our gels are classed as food grade there is absolutely no danger through swallowing or digestion unless you have a specific alergic reaction or intolerance to Hydrogen Peroxide which would be considered extremely rare.
Almost everyone! End results will vary dependant on the original colour of your teeth & the level of staining.
For example an older person, who smokes, loves a drop of red & consumes coloured foods regularly, will achieve outstanding results due to the higher level of staining.
This is why we promote likely improvements of between 1-6 genuine shades per treatment.
For example, if your teeth are naturally white or yellow the results are likely to be better than if they are genetically of a grey tinge. If your teeth are not genetically white then a "pearly white" finish is not achievable as we are assisting in restoring your teeth to their former glory prior to external influences.
Again that depends on the natural colour of your teeth & how badly they are stained to begin with. The longer the treatment (up to Zoom teeth whitening50 minutes) the better the results. The greater your teeth are stained, again, the more likely you are to see more dramatic results.
Most people achieve a 1-2 shade improvement during a single 20 or 30 minute session with greater shade improvements likely during a 40 - 50 minute sessions.
An improvement of up to 6 shades is not uncommon. Your specialist treatment centre will compare the colour of your teeth in consultation before & after your treatment so you can be assured of amazing results.
If your teeth are extremely discoloured multiple treatments can be administered to create that perfect smile.
On average around 2 years but this will vary individually dependant on lifestyle factors like food & drink consumption.
We always recommend the "touch up" pen be purchased & used weekly to prolong your results.
Our treatment can be completed up to 3 times a year but once you have reached your goal level most people only require a 20 minute touch up to bring their teeth back to the original results.
No, teeth whitening only works on your natural teeth & will only bring your crowns, bridges & veneers back to their original colour.

The treatments are assisted by our trained professionals but are largely self administered, occasionally small levels of gum bleaching may occur (very rare in fact less than 1% of the time), however the gum colour normally returns within 20 minutes and the upside is that if you have gum disease, the gel will kill the bacteria. If you are in the minority of people who experience small levels of gum sensitivity during or after your treatment your consultant will supply you with desensitizing gel to alleviate any discomfort.
